When community health teams are on the road every day, the vehicle isn’t just transport — it’s the service. That’s why we are genuinely proud to deliver a purpose-built, state-of-the-art 100% electric outreach van for the Queensland Injectors Health Network (QuIHN). QuIHN is founded by the communities they exist to serve. They provide non-judgmental support across Queensland, including health programs, testing and treatment pathways, and outreach services designed to meet people where they are.

Why an Electric Outreach Van Makes Sense

Outreach work requires reliability, comfort, and the ability to operate in a wide range of environments — from busy metro streets to remote communities.

A modern electric platform is a strong fit because it can support:

  • Quiet, low-stress engagement when you’re parked and supporting clients (no noisy generator)

  • Lower running costs over time, especially for high-kilometre service delivery

  • A future-ready fleet that aligns with sustainability and grant-funded program goals

For QuIHN, this van will support a mix of essential, real-world outreach needs, including:

  • Mobile sexual health & HIV testing

  • Community health outreach (including harm reduction programs)

  • Indigenous and regional health programs

  • Grant-funded community health initiatives

Built from the Ground Up to QuIHN’s Exact Specifications

This is the part we care about most. At AdventurEV, we don’t do “close enough.” We build each outreach van from the ground up to the organisation’s workflow, ensuring the finished vehicle feels like it was always meant to exist.

QuIHN first connected with us after meeting at a local caravan show. From there, we worked through how the team actually uses the space day-to-day:

  • What needs to be accessed quickly?

  • What needs to be locked away?

  • Where does the team stand, sit, and move?

  • What needs to happen inside the van when it’s parked and operating as a mobile service?

From this information, we design and build a layout that supports the work.

Depending on the program and requirements, that can include practical fitout elements like:

  • Clinical-style benching and easy-clean surfaces

  • Lockable storage for sensitive equipment and supplies

  • Dedicated zones for outreach materials and consumables

  • Fridge space for temperature-sensitive items (where required)

  • Handwashing / hygiene solutions

  • Sharps disposal integration (where relevant)

  • Privacy screening options

  • External awning / annexe for pop-up outreach

  • Signage / wrap readiness for clear community visibility

  • A power system designed around the equipment you actually run

The goal is simple: a safer, smoother workflow for staff — and a better experience for the community.

Platform: The New Farizon Supervan (6m)

In 2026, our new vans are designed around the new Farizon Supervan 6m platform. This is a seriously capable electric base vehicle for organisations that need space, range, and fast turnaround between locations.

Key platform highlights include:

  • 106kWh battery

  • 400km+ real-world range

  • 120kW charging (20–80% in approximately 40 minutes)

  • 6m length (extra space compared to typical vans)

  • V2L (Vehicle-to-Load) included (use the vehicle to power equipment)

That combination is what makes the Supervan such a strong foundation for mobile health, outreach, and community service builds.

A Proven Model for Other Community Organisations

If you’re running a mobile program or planning one, the right vehicle can unlock more reach, more consistency, and better outcomes.

This kind of custom electric outreach van is a fit for organisations like:

  • Youth Projects

  • AIDS Council

  • Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Community Health Services

  • Community Sexual Health Services

More broadly, it suits community health providers, councils, Indigenous health services, sexual health clinics, and any team delivering services on the move.

The Future of Sustainable Outreach

As we look to the future, the importance of sustainable outreach vehicles cannot be overstated. With the rise of eco-conscious travel, electric outreach vans are paving the way for a greener approach to community health.

Imagine a world where outreach teams can travel without contributing to air pollution. This is not just a dream; it’s becoming a reality. By choosing electric vans, we are taking significant steps toward reducing our carbon footprint.

Embracing Change

Transitioning to electric vehicles may seem daunting. However, the benefits far outweigh the challenges. Electric vans offer lower maintenance costs and fewer emissions. This means more funds can be allocated to vital health programs instead of fuel expenses.

Community Impact

The impact of electric outreach vans extends beyond just the environment. They enhance the quality of service provided to communities. With quieter operations, clients can feel more at ease during consultations. This creates a welcoming atmosphere for those seeking help.

Join the Movement

I invite you to join us in this movement toward sustainable outreach. Together, we can create a healthier planet while providing essential services to those in need.

By investing in electric outreach vans, we are not only supporting our communities but also taking a stand for the environment. Let’s work together to make a difference, one journey at a time.
